Plaque Blaster

A child is nauseous with dread; he’s being driven to the dentist! Maybe this trip isn’t as bad as he imagined thanks to a funny dream he has while he’s under the anaesthetic.

I decided to mix two classics, asteroids and space invaders. Avoid homing enemies coming in from all sides while picking up some game-changing goodies along the way. This cute little package arrives in a heartfelt and surprisingly mature take on a fear that almost all humans face in historically one of the most underappreciated and necessary medical practices.

This game started as a uni project than turned into the beginning of my portfolio... Until I discovered my old pong game is outdated and since moving to Linux, I have lost the source code for this project and will definitely return to it after I at least make the base of the pong with BRAND new flashy 3D graphics.
